Create your party by choosing a unique name and your desired ticket information. If you just want to sell auction tickets or fixed price tickets, just leave the fields for the other type of the ticket as they are. Next, distribute your party name, so people can find your party under the "bid" and "buy" tabs. Make sure to spread the word about who will actually be allowed entry if they bid or buy. You can also add friends that get in free with the "add/remove friends" tab. At the door, have people enter their full name under the "the list" tab. Their invitation status, the party name, the ticket type and the name they entered will be displayed. Feel free to check their full name against the name on their license to see if it's really them. You can also check if the ticket type applies to them. Finally, you can withdraw your funds under the "withdraw funds" tab. Currently, 50% of the revenue goes to charity, 45% of the revenue goes to you and 5% of the revenue goes to the creator of this decentralized application. You can choose to distribute a larger amount of the revenue to charity. If you click on the MetaMask extension, it will show you whether your transaction is pending, has failed or has gone through.
When you add a free friend, that friend's name will trigger an invited status for all of your parties as long as you use the same Ethereum address to create the parties as you do to add your friend. Your address is the thing you see right below your account name in MetaMask. For example, if you add "Howard Roark" using the address "0x627306090abaB3A6e1400e9345bC60c78a8BEf57," he will be able to get into every party that you create using the same address. Adding a verified friend works the same way. That friend will be be allowed to bid in any auction created by the same address. Just use the remove friend user to remove a user free friend or verified friend status. If you click on the MetaMask extension, it will show you whether your transaction is pending, has failed or has gone through.
Your balance is shown below. You won't be able to withdraw your revenue until after the auction ends. If you didn't set up an auction, you'll be able to withdraw your revenue at anytime. Your balance is increased for every ticket sold and every ticket claimed by the highest bidder in your auction. If you click on the MetaMask extension, it will show you whether your transaction is pending, has failed or has gone through.
